Gifts- a poem

Gifts       6/10/2018

I have grumbled about much strife

Though I do not deserve this life

Full of many gifts

From the one above

So I strive to count the many gifts

That have graciously been given me

For their value I can clearly see

From a Maker that dearly loves me

Gifts of all different shapes and sizes

Gifts that bring much joy to my full life

Gifts that show or teach me how to love

Gifts that are clearly from up above

So value the gifts of your one life

Before you miss the joy that is true

Before mercy reaches its limit

And before all is taken from you
