Value- a poem

Value – 9/29/2017

*based on the quote by Jefferson Bethke, which says, “People are neighbors to be loved, not commodities to be used.”

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.- Psalm 139:14 (KJV)

You are precious in His sight

You are certainly worth the fight

The fight called life

Including the joys and the strife

You are more valuable

Than just a toy to be used

Or something to be abused

Or tossed away like trash

You are more valuable

Than silver or gold

Or all the riches of this world

Or anything you can behold

Never let anyone tell you

That you don’t matter

Because you are so valued, my friend

And you will be loved until the end

    1. That’s awesome when we are able to tell others how much they have meant to us. Great that you got to do that today!
